When more water is needed than one Highlifter will deliver, two or more can be connected to the delivery line. Each has its own input line in this setup
This our first Highlifter. It’s been in service for more than 10 years. It pushes about 325 gallons of water up 520 feet through 1800 feet of 1/2 inch pipe to the top of our property where we gavity feed it to our livestock and garden.
You can see the low pressure piston appear throught the pump head from this angle.
Having a good source of relatively clean water with some fall is key. Falling water provides the energy need to drive the Highlifter Pump, 1 psi corresponds to approximately 2.31 feet of water column, so if water drops 1 foot, the pressure increase is roughly 0.433 psi at the bottom of that column.
This is the new style Highlifter with heavier built Valve Body and Pump Heads. This one sports the Highlifter Blue cross over tube.
